The Pueblo Zoo is the first of its kind to implement geothermal heating & cooling. The geoexchange system provides heating & cooling for some of the world’s most unique species. Geothermal heating & cooling provides temperature control for the zoo’s birds, monkeys and reptiles. The zoo’s engineers chose geothermal because of cost effenciency, as well as its ability to keep temperatures constant and control humidity.
