When the City of Boulder, CO decided to build a new shelter for the homeless they opted for a geothermal system. This facility is a 38 bed homeless shelter which incorporates individual heat pumps in each room. This geothermal system is a 30-250' vertical borehole designed system with a 20 ton IceKube geothermal heat unit for domestic hot water.
