The Duchesne County School District is a firm believer in geothermal heating and cooling. The Roosevelt Junior High is the fourth school in the Duchesne County School District utilizing geothermal heating & cooling. The benefits experienced by the district and Roosevelt Jr. High include: energy savings, cooling and low maintenance costs for the school. In order to install a geothermal system for the Jr. High, RMG drilled 150-300 ft vertical bore holes.
